Description:  NW 8103 leads the other show ponies back north to Roanoke at Five Row, just after departing the NCTM after NS's 30th Anniversary celebration. Also trailing in the consist are NW GP30 #522, the NS Exhibit Car, and another passenger car. The Savannah and Atlanta SD70ACe would be my overall favorite of the heritage unit fleet, but the NW would be my favorite of the GEs.

Description:  On a hazy July morning in Carolina, grain train 50Z makes its way south through Kannapolis with the Monogahela and Norfolk Southern Railway Heritage units on the lead. Third out and also of note is the NS 1030, which represented the NS 30th Anniversary Unit at the birthday bash in Spencer just days before.
